Upgrading Contort

All current registered users of CONTORT are entitled to a free upgrade.
Simply send me the name of this program in the subject line and your registration code, your current version and your name and address in the mail body.
A new registration code will be sent by return.

New to Version 2.7

Enter up to ten lines of text of any size font and color.
Highlight your image from any direction.
Quick save of image file.

New to Version 2.6

New AVI animation file recording.
Introduced a peek preview of overlaid sources at cursor position in destination.
New capture desktop screen into a source window.

New to Version 2.5

New tutorial: how do I feature in the help menu.
Pencil draw routine has been improved.
Removed memory leak problem when file scrolling in a source window.
The problem where parts of toolbar hidden when reducing size of source window is now corrected.
Reload of original file now works properly and will load the last image loaded regardless of whether it was source 1 or source two.
The color of a new blank source window will be set to the reference color.
Destination window now does not have a minimise button.
Destination window is now not marked as changed if one source out of two is deleted.

New to Version 2.4

New buttons to unsmoothly paint in source 1 or 2 in the whole of the contort rectangle.
In the merge dialog box, the subtract pixel 2 - 1 and subtract pixel 1 - 2 functions have been improved.
In the same dialog box, the source bias slider was the wrong way round for the functions: If 2 > Ref then 1 else 2 and If 2 > Ref then 2 else 1. This is now corrected.
When the source image is smaller than its enclosing window the extra no mans land area can be set to black gray or white when merging with another source image to the destination.
Pressing the red X button, which is found in the source window toolbar, will now blank the complete source window to the reference color.
The color of a new blank source window will be set to the reference color.

New to Version 2.3

New band effect (special effect 3) is now added.
Scaling is reset to 100% when the clipboard is pasted into a source window.
Status bar will show zone width and height if set as opposed to the complete destination image width and height.
A progress busy bar is now present in the status bar for pencil draw and effects2 and 3.
The hint about pressing the space bar in the destination to switch to align mode now correctly disappears when switching to a source window.

New to Version 2.2

New special effect feature added.
New Invert color-brightness added.
Removed bug where contort zone width of zero under certain conditions, was regarded as valid.
If contort zone is set there is an option to save all of the image or just the contort zone when saving to a file.
